I slept well last night. I was only woken up once by a large truck in the middle of the night. There was basically no big movement in the service area in the second half of the night.
We set off at 8:30. It was raining heavily, and the highway in Guizhou was a bit winding, with uphill and downhill slopes. In the morning, we basically traveled through clouds, fog, and rain. The weather and terrain in Guizhou are like this, and the temperature is also quite low, 14 degrees.
At noon, we stopped at the Qingyan service area to rest. There was a nice shower room that could be closed independently, which was very convenient. After washing, I found that there is also a kitchen, drying area, and large terrace.
After taking a shower, I felt much more relaxed. I had lunch and rested before continuing on the road. I started to feel a little sleepy this afternoon and was a little more tired than yesterday. I rested at the Xinhuang service area in the evening. It was obvious that the leading group of tourists in the service area had already hit the road today. The service area was crowded with cars and very noisy. I hesitated to go to the next service area, but it was more than 70 kilometers away and I didn’t want to drive. I found a quiet corner to camp. The computer ran out of power last night. Today I took out the inverter and lithium battery and connected them. You can continue to use the computer at night and go to bed after surfing the Internet. It is a bit hot in Hunan today, 25 degrees.
There is an interesting phenomenon. It is around 10pm in the service area, and there are still 2 hours left before the expressway free time. The service area is basically full of cars. Everyone is standing and chatting. Some bring chairs and come out to form a circle, bragging and chatting. It is estimated that by 12 o'clock, everyone will get off the expressway.
I don’t know whether it’s because there are many poor people or because highways are expensive.
